Blend calculations, explained

A fixed-ratio blend requires component-aware arithmetic. Vial composition is kept separate from target amounts so component strengths are never presented as dose suggestions.

Per-component concentration math

Choose the exact vial variant. The Advanced Blend workspace prefills each component and calculates every component concentration from one shared prepared volume.

Vial strength is not a target amount

Each listed number identifies how much of one component is present in the full vial. It does not establish how much of the blend to draw or how often.

How to read the dosing on this page

Blend-level rows

Reported protocols describe how sources reconstitute and draw this vial as a whole, each tied to where it was said.

Component rows

Each peptide's own page reports what studies and guides describe for it alone; the leading rows are repeated below.

One draw, every component

The ratio is fixed by the vial, so a draw sized for one component sets the amount of all the others at the same time.

Molecular profile of each component

Selank / Semax Blend is 2 peptides in one vial. Each profile below is PubChem's record for that peptide, read from its own library page; the vial amount is what the label states for this blend, not an amount per draw.

Community nasal-spray convention for the 20 mg vialAbout 100 mcg of each peptide per 50 microlitre spray, from 20 mg made up in 10 mL (2 mg/mL combined); 1 spray per nostril to start (200 mcg of each per day), then 1-2 sprays per nostril 1-2 times daily (300-600 mcg of each per day)1-3 times daily, morning first; at least 4 hours between doses on the heavier 2-3 sprays per nostril scheduleIntranasal spray from a pharmacy-grade bottle, primed with 2-3 actuations, with 30-60 seconds between sprays in the same nostril2-6 weeks activeCycle off when the acute need passes; some use the blend only on high-demand daysCommunity resource2026
This 2026 profile is explicit that no published study has given Semax and Selank together (a 2020 fMRI study tested them as separate arms in the same volunteers) and that the blend's per-component figures are a community convention sitting below both drugs' Russian labels and below each drug's own community dose. It describes concentration variants (20 mg in 5 mL for about 200 mcg of each per spray, in 20 mL for about 50 mcg) and says anyone wanting a ratio other than 1:1 should buy the peptides separately. It gives 30 days refrigerated for the spray bottle while admitting that no stability document supports the figure.

This page models a 10 mg blended vial made up with 3 mL (about 3.33 mg/mL, 33 mcg per unit), so its 200, 300 and 500 mcg steps are about 6, 9 and 15 units. The 10 mg + 10 mg vial sold here holds twice that, so the same 3 mL gives about 6.67 mg/mL and the unit counts halve. Its doses are totals for the pair, so each administration carries half as much of each peptide; the page names a vendor and cites no clinical source for the combination.
Community stack guide: two vials, with notes on pre-blended vialsSemax 600 mcg (18 units) plus Selank 400 mcg (12 units) once daily from separate 10 mg vials each made up with 3 mL (3,333 mcg/mL); for a pre-blended 10 mg vial at the same dilution, a 0.18 mL draw is about 600 mcg of total blendOnce daily in the morning, with every Semax dose before 2 PM; many follow 5 days on and 2 offSubcutaneous at separate sites with separate syringes, which the guide calls the off-label research route; intranasal is the original Russian-approved route4 weeks on (standard), 10-14 days (intensive) or 8 weeks at 5 days a week (extended)4 weeks off after the standard and extended cycles; 10-14 days off after the intensive oneCommunity resource2026
This August 2026 guide treats two separate vials as standard and says a few suppliers sell pre-blended vials or nasal solutions; for those it says to check the actual milligram split on the label and accept that the ratio is locked, since Semax cannot be titrated independently of Selank. It describes running Selank alone for 5-7 days before adding Semax, titrating each independently over weeks 3-8 (Selank to 400-500 mcg and Semax to 500-800 mcg a day), and states that no clinical trial has tested the combined stack. Its intranasal figures for the Russian products are 2-3 drops per nostril, about 200-300 mcg per administration.
Vendor dosage guide: the Russian nootropic stack lineSelank 250-500 mcg plus Semax 200-600 mcg per administration2-3 times dailyIntranasalThe same page's Selank cycles run 14 days (Russian pharmaceutical), 3-4 weeks (standard) or 6-8 weeks (extended)14 days, 1-2 weeks or 2-3 weeks off, matching the three cycle lengthsCommunity resource2026
A European vendor's Selank guide, compiled from a third-party wiki, lists the pairing as a stack of two separately dosed peptides rather than a blended vial, so these amounts cannot be drawn from a 1:1 vial at the ratio stated. It is a vendor claim, and it describes diminishing returns above about 500 mcg of intranasal Selank and a 3 mL reconstitution transferred to a metered spray bottle of about 0.1 mL per spray for nasal use.

How a course is commonly described

  1. First doseCommunity-reported

Community reports place effects within 15-30 minutes of a spray, Semax's focus first and Selank's calming effect building over 30-60 minutes, with a single dose lasting 4-8 hours. The profile notes that no trial or label establishes this timeframe.

  2. Weeks 1-2Community-reported

Cumulative effects are described as building over the first one to two weeks of a cycle, which guides attribute to BDNF upregulation and stress adaptation seen in the component literature; nothing has measured this for the combination.

  3. Cycle and breakCommunity-reported

The common rhythms are 4 weeks on and 4 off, a 10-14 day intensive course with a matching break, or 5 days on and 2 off for up to 8 weeks; the Russian intranasal products run 14-21 day courses. The guide says neither peptide built tolerance or dependence in published trials, so cycling is framed as avoiding adaptation rather than managing withdrawal.

  • No controlled study has tested Selank and Semax co-formulated or given together; a 2020 imaging study ran them as separate arms. A UK vendor's own page says to treat the blend as two compounds in one container, that no combined effect has been shown, and that the only study measuring both side by side tested each peptide separately against enkephalin-degrading enzymes.
  • Equal mass is near-equimolar here because the two peptides weigh 751.9 and 813.9 g/mol: 10 mg of each is about 13.3 micromoles of Selank to 12.3 of Semax, a ratio near 1.08 to 1. Once dissolved the ratio is fixed, so any other ratio, a single-peptide control or attributing an effect to one molecule needs separate vials.
  • Route matters more than usual. Both drugs are registered in Russia as nasal drops (Selank 0.15%, Semax 0.1% and 1%), most community guides make the blend up as a nasal spray, and subcutaneous injection, though common in US research-chemical use, has no registered product behind it. One guide warns against switching routes mid-cycle because subcutaneous amounts are usually too low for nasal use and nasal amounts too high for injection.
  • The blend-specific community doses (about 100 mcg of each per spray, 300-600 mcg of each a day) sit below both Russian labels and below each drug's standalone community figures; they are a convention for the combined product, not a translation of either label. Injectable blends exist and have their own calculators, but the maths for a spray and for a syringe are different.
  • The vendor's page for the 10 mg / 10 mg vial publishes a lot certificate (lot XS01: 99.77% purity by HPLC, 21.15 mg measured against 20 mg labelled, heavy metals below USP limits) and in the same breath disclaims nasal administration and injection use. Semax's N-terminal methionine oxidises in air and light, so one vendor advises keeping stopper-open time short, aliquoting, and using the solution within 4 weeks.

    What is available now

These fields come from the existing picker, blend catalog and observed presentation data. They are identity and availability context, not evidence of effectiveness.

This vial holds 10 mg of Selank and 10 mg of Semax, two Russian heptapeptide nootropics that vendors sell together as a 1:1 blend. Both peptides are registered in Russia only as nasal drops and are usually dosed intranasally; the vendor sells this pairing as a 20 mg lyophilised vial whose page disclaims nasal and injection use, and community guides either make the powder up as a nasal spray or inject it subcutaneously. No controlled study has tested the two co-formulated or given together, so the clinical record is on the component pages, and the blend-specific community doses sit below either drug's Russian label.
