Technique tutorials

Four written lessons: reconstitution, syringe measurement, pen setup and nasal pumps. Each step has a checkpoint, and no account is needed to follow along.

A vial of lyophilized peptide, a vial of bacteriostatic water and a U-100 insulin syringe on a pale surface.

Peptide pen setup and clicks

Check that the cartridge fits, fill and prime the pen, then dial the click number from the calculator result.

Before this lesson, have these ready3 items
  • Instructions for the exact pen and cartridge
  • A compatible refillable cartridge, new needle and prepared liquid
  • The checked liquid-per-click setting used in the calculator

Step 1 of 6Pen

Make sure the cartridge fits the pen

Follow these actions
  1. Check that the pen is designed for the cartridge size, capacity, rubber stopper and needle system.

  2. Confirm how much liquid the exact pen delivers with each click.

Before you continue

The pen, cartridge and needle details match the device settings selected in the calculator.

Stop conditions

Do not open or refill a sealed medication pen or cartridge unless it was specifically designed to be filled manually.

Safety boundary

Pens and cartridges are not all the same. Use only a refillable system designed for your cartridge and filling method. Confirm the cartridge fit and liquid delivered per click before trusting a calculated setting.
