Blend calculations, explained

A fixed-ratio blend requires component-aware arithmetic. Vial composition is kept separate from target amounts so component strengths are never presented as dose suggestions.

Per-component concentration math

Choose the exact vial variant. The Advanced Blend workspace prefills each component and calculates every component concentration from one shared prepared volume.

Vial strength is not a target amount

Each listed number identifies how much of one component is present in the full vial. It does not establish how much of the blend to draw or how often.

How to read the dosing on this page

Blend-level rows

Reported protocols describe how sources reconstitute and draw this vial as a whole, each tied to where it was said.

Component rows

Each peptide's own page reports what studies and guides describe for it alone; the leading rows are repeated below.

One draw, every component

The ratio is fixed by the vial, so a draw sized for one component sets the amount of all the others at the same time.

Molecular profile of each component

BPC-157 / TB-500 Blend is 2 peptides in one vial. Each profile below is PubChem's record for that peptide, read from its own library page; the vial amount is what the label states for this blend, not an amount per draw.

What published studies and recent community write-ups report about amounts, timing and course length. 1 clinical, 1 preclinical and 3 community-reported rows, each linked to its source. These are descriptions of what others report, not instructions, and nothing here is medical advice.

3 of the 4 combination patients reported significant improvement and 1 reported none, against 11 of 12 for BPC 157 alone. There was no control group, no standardized outcome measure and no blinding, and the TB4 was a compounded thymosin beta-4 rather than a labelled TB-500 fragment, so this records that the pairing has been used in a clinic, not evidence that it works.
Preclinical1 row
Preclinical: rat Achilles tendon repair, both peptides together32 male Sprague-Dawley rats after Achilles tendon transection and repair, 8 per group (vehicle, BPC-157, TB-500, both)BPC-157 10 mcg/kg/day plus TB-500 60 mcg/kg/dayOnce dailyIntraperitoneal injection30 days after surgery, reported as four weeksNot applicableJoint Diseases and Related Surgery2026
The only study to give the two peptides together. TB-500 alone produced the one statistically significant gain in load to failure and the lowest Bonar histology score; the combination group improved on the Movin score but did not differ from either single agent on any measure, and the authors suggest the peptides converge on shared downstream pathways. Four tendons per group went to histology, each compound was tested at a single dose, and the TB-500 was described as synthetic thymosin beta-4 bought from a research-chemical supplier, so this is an exploratory result rather than a verdict on the stack.

A vendor's measurement page for the 10 mg (5 + 5) vial: 2 mL of bacteriostatic water gives 5 mg/mL in total (2.5 mg/mL of each), so 1 unit on a U-100 syringe is about 25 mcg of each peptide, and at the 10-unit example one vial lasts exactly one 20-draw cycle. It gives 3-4 weeks refrigerated as the in-use window and says the same cycle pattern applies to the 20 mg (10 + 10) vial with the unit math halved. This is a vendor claim that describes itself as measurement math, not dosing guidance.

Describes the 10 mg (5 + 5) vial made up with 2 mL, giving 2.5 mg/mL of each peptide and 25 mcg of each per unit. Its standard protocol is 500 mcg-1 mg of blend once daily for 4-8 weeks and its intensive one is 1 mg once daily for 2-4 weeks; a 500 mcg daily draw empties the vial in 20 days. The page states that these figures are research-protocol convention rather than a dose-finding study, lists storage as 4 weeks refrigerated after mixing, and flags both components on the 2026 WADA list (BPC-157 under S0, TB-500 under S2.3).
Community unit math: 10/10 mg vial1 mg of blend (500 mcg of each peptide) is 10 units of a 20 mg vial made up with 2 mL (10 mg/mL), or 15 units with 3 mLPer draw; no schedule givenSubcutaneousNot describedNot describedCommunity resource2026
A calculator site's guide to the arithmetic of blend vials: total milligrams divided by water volume gives the concentration, and a 1 mg total-blend draw from a 10/10 vial in 2 mL is 10 units, against 20 units from a 5/5 vial in the same volume. It stresses that the ratio is fixed at the factory, that the syringe units only ever track the total concentration, and that there is no established human dose for either peptide or for the blend. How a course is commonly described

  1. Reconstitution and week 1Community-reported

The vendor reference adds 2 mL of bacteriostatic water to the 10 mg (5 + 5) vial for 5 mg/mL, then draws 10 units (250 mcg of each peptide) once daily in the evening, 5 days on and 2 off, injected subcutaneously in the abdomen.

  2. Weeks 2-4: one vial, one cycleCommunity-reported

At 10 units a day the 20 draws of a 5-on/2-off month use the whole 10 mg vial, which is also about the end of the 3-4 week refrigerated in-use window the same page gives for the mixed solution.

  3. Weeks 4-8 and the pauseCommunity-reported

Community guides place the standard course at 4-8 weeks of 500 mcg-1 mg of blend once daily; the vendor reference allows up to 3 consecutive monthly cycles and then a 2 month pause. No source gives a reason for these lengths beyond convention.

  4. Preclinical comparisonPreclinical

The one study of the pair gave rats 10 mcg/kg BPC-157 and 60 mcg/kg TB-500 by intraperitoneal injection every day for 30 days after tendon repair, with no breaks, and found no advantage over either peptide alone at the four-week endpoint.

  • No human study has tested a course of this blend. The one animal study of the pair found no additive benefit, the only human report is four patients in an uncontrolled chart review, and a 2026 scoping review found the musculoskeletal claims for both peptides unsubstantiated in people, so every schedule above is vendor or community convention.
  • The vial fixes the ratio at 1:1, so a draw that delivers 500 mcg of BPC-157 also delivers 500 mcg of TB-500 and neither can be adjusted on its own. The 5/5 and 10/10 vials differ only in concentration for a given water volume: 2 mL gives 2.5 mg/mL of each peptide in the small vial and 5 mg/mL in the large one.
  • What TB-500 means varies by source. The rat study used synthetic thymosin beta-4, the knee review used compounded TB4, and vendors sell both the 43-residue protein and the 7-residue fragment under the TB-500 name. A blend certificate also has to report two peptides, and a single purity figure for a mixture does not say which component an impurity belongs to.
  • Both components are prohibited by WADA at all times, BPC-157 under S0 and thymosin beta-4 and its derivatives under S2.3. The vendor's product page carries no dosing guidance at all; its stated handling is minus 20 degrees C for the powder, 2-8 degrees C after reconstitution, protected from light and without freeze-thaw cycles. The rows above record what sources report, not endorsements of use.

In BPC-157 / TB-500 Blend the vial ratio fixes the proportions, so one draw delivers every component at once and none can be raised without the others. What is available now

These fields come from the existing picker, blend catalog and observed presentation data. They are identity and availability context, not evidence of effectiveness.

The BPC-157 / TB-500 blend is one vial of the two peptides at a 1:1 ratio, sold as 5/5 or 10/10 mg. The vendor sells the 10/10 vial as Wolverine, and the pair is the most common repair stack online, marketed for tendon, ligament, muscle and joint recovery on the strength of each component's rodent literature. One animal study has tested the combination, a 2026 rat Achilles tendon trial in which the pair did no better than either peptide alone, and the only human report is a four-patient subset of an uncontrolled knee injection chart review, so the evidence for the stack lives on the component pages.
